The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge blessed the new Ultrasound machine at the Tepayac Clinic today. The new event marks the culmination of the Knights of Columbus effort to replace an aging machine at the clinic. Assisting the Bishop was Worthy Chaplain Fr. Don Heet, OSFS. PGK Bob Balog led the Family of Man effort and led and organized many other K of C councils in the collection effort. Also in attendance at the event were PGKs Bob Balog and his wife Celia; District 17 Warden and PGK Bill McInerney; Virginia State Deputy Bob Szerszynski; Brother Leo Marier; and PGK Chris Gallagher.

The Bishop extended his thanks for all of the work that the Knights do across the diocese to support the many ministries of the church and highlighted that the work raising the funds for the machine was truly a life-saving effort.
