Knights of Columbus Host Charity Breakfast to Support The Arc of Northern Virginia

On December 3, 2023, the Knights of Columbus Family of Man Council 7566 held their monthly charity breakfast at St John Neumann Church in Reston, Virginia. The event raised funds for The Arc of Northern Virginia, a local organization that advocates for and promotes the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD).

The Arc of Northern Virginia serves thousands of individuals with ID/DD and their families in the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church, and in Arlington and Fairfax Counties. The organization provides essential job training, residential support, and advocacy services.

Arc leaders Michael Thomas, 1st Vice President, and Howard Stregack, Director of Development, spoke to the breakfast attendees about the organization's work and the importance of supporting people with ID/DD. They also set up an information table to provide additional information about The Arc of Northern Virginia.

The Knights of Columbus Family of Man Council 7566 is a vibrant part of the St. John Neumann Catholic Community. The council has over 250 members participating in various events yearly, including the monthly charity breakfast.
