Feeding the Hungry at Embry Rucker Community Shelter

The FOM Council hosted a cookout at the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston on Saturday, June 16th. This is the first cookout since 2016 for what had long been an annual event for our Council and the effort was led by Brother Eddie Byrne. Both beef and turkey hamburgers and hotdogs were grilled outside and then Knights served dinner inside to the residences of the shelter and guests. Besides burgers and hotdogs, salad, coleslaw, mac and cheese and dessert were provided. Assisting in this wonderful community event were Brothers Chris Gallagher, Tom Graziano.

Sunday Charity Breakfasts

Representing WGB was their Operations Manager, Nicole Morris, and Board Member, Tara Craven, spouse of our late PGK Dave Craven. Over $1,300 was donated to WGB as a result of this breakfast.
