On Saturday, June 9th, Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly #1781 conducted the Installation of their officers for Fraternal Year 2018 – 2019 at our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Three members of the Family of Man Council were installed at this Ceremony: Inner Sentinel Sir Knight (SK) David Siewert and Outer Sentinels SKs Richard Devlin and Chris Yorke. Standing in for Brothers David and Richard were SKs Stephen Presenti and Bob Balog.
During the 2017 – 2018 Fraternal Year, the Family of Man Council hosted Breakfast fund-raisers for nine local charities. The last breakfast was for WOMEN GIVING BACK (WGB). Representing WGB was their Operations Manager, Nicole Morris, and Board Member, Tara Craven, spouse of our late PGK Dave Craven. Over $1,300 was donated to WGB as a result of this breakfast.
During the past nine months, the FOM Council has fed breakfast to over 2,700 hungry patrons and raised almost $14,000 for our sponsored charities.
Our June Charity Breakfast on Sunday the 3rd will be for Women Giving Back (WGB). WGB’s mission is to support women and children in crisis, and build their confidence and self-esteem, by providing great quality clothing at no cost, assisted by caring and committed volunteers who offer personalized service and interaction.
