On Saturday, April 21st, Brother Dominique K. Anato joined the Fourth Degree, the Patriotic Order of the Knights of Columbus. Sir Knight Dominique was among 117 Knights from across Virginia that gathered for this Exemplification that took place at Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Palmyra, VA. He was escorted by Grand Knight Bob Balog and together with four Brothers from the area was welcomed as a new member of the Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly #1781 in Sterling, VA. Congratulation Sir Knight Dominique Anato!
On April 10th, Brothers Andrew Eberly and James Mueller from our Family of Man Council received their Formation Degree during a special ceremony held at All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas, VA. They were escorted by our Grand Knight, Bob Balog and Membership Chairman, Brother Mike Poland.
The principle of the Formation (formally 2rd) Degree is Unity and it reflects the strength of our Order when acting together.

The Brothers of the Family of Man Council are assisting the Kairos Prison Ministry of Virginia (http://www.kairosva.org) by preparing cookies for the Kairos Team’s planned visit later in April.
The Knights of Columbus Council 7566 selected three Knights and their families as the Council Families of the Month for April.
Louis and Chris Wise have been married 48 years and have a son, Joshua. Chris started attending SJN in 2011. Louis has been an active Christian, leading bible studies and singing in a men's choir. He joined the Catholic Church in 2016. Chris is an eucharistic minister and member of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales. Louis joined the Council in March of last year and is a Third Degree Knight.
On National Vietnam Veterans Day, March 29th, 2018, several Knights gathered to enjoy fraternal fellowship and a patriotic celebration at Mission BBQ in Chantilly, VA. The National Anthem was played at noon and the Armed Forces Medley was sung by West Point Alumni Glee Club. Brothers Mike Wells (Army: RVN 70 – 71), Al Zane (Navy – RVN deployment orders cancelled), Tom Carter (Army: RVN 71 – 72), Bob Balog (Army: RVN 70 – 71), and Tom Zorn (Army: RVN 69 – 70) were joined by Louis Wise (event photographer) for a mini-Social Meeting to share food, drink, and each other’s company.
