Hungry for Good Italian Food? On Tuesday, September 24, join the Knights of Columbus for an Italian Dinner in the Brown-McCarthy Auditorium from 5:00-7:30pm.
Traditional dishes will be served including Spaghetti and Meatballs, Meatless Baked Ziti, Garden Salad, Dinner Rolls and of course, dessert.
Free-will donations will be accepted for the meal. Proceeds from the dinner will support many of the Council’s charitable activities.
The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge blessed the new Ultrasound machine at the Tepayac Clinic today. The new event marks the culmination of the Knights of Columbus effort to replace an aging machine at the clinic. Assisting the Bishop was Worthy Chaplain Fr. Don Heet, OSFS. PGK Bob Balog led the Family of Man effort and led and organized many other K of C councils in the collection effort.
Congratulations to the Kevin Kramp family for being recognized as the Family of the Month for July 2019. The Kramp family have been active parishioners since 2003. Kevin and his wife Paula taught religious education for several years. Paula is a frequent lector and serves on the parish's finance council. Brian, age 20 and a student at CNU has been an altar server since he was 7 years old. Joe, a Junior at Chantilly High School, also altar serves. Steve, an eight grader at Franklin Middle School is an usher.
The Family of Man Council held the Officer Installation on July 16th to pass the baton from Year-3 Trustee, SK Chris Gallagher to the new Grand Knight, Brother Kevin Kramp. Following the installation ceremony, the Family of Man Council hosted an Appreciation Dinner for our Immediate PGK Chris Gallagher. Following the blessing by Council Chaplain Father Don Heet, OSFS, Brother Dave Birmingham led the Council in serving an outstanding gourmet dinner for the Council and their guests, including the many supportive wives.
