The Knights of Columbus will host their monthly Charity Fundraising Breakfast on Sunday, February 5, 2017, from 8:30 to 11:00am in the Brown-McCarthy Auditorium of St John Neumann Parish. The beneficiary is the Gabriel Project in the Arlington Diocese.
On Tuesday, January 24th the following brother Knights from the Family of Man Council received their Formation (2nd) Degree at St. Leo the Great Parish, hosted by Fr. Diamond Council 6292. They were escorted by Deputy Grand Knight Bob Balog, Chancellor Mike Poland, Field Agent Leo Duran and Brothers Mark and Jeff Emery and Dave Bermingham.
The Council would like to congratulate our newest degreed Knights and look forward to them continuing on the path of obtaining their Knighthood Degree.
Members of the Family of Man Council joined with their fellow Knights from St. Mary of Sorrows Council 8600 to remove portions of an Annandale house recently purchased by Marian Homes. Marian Homes is a non-profit organization run by Council 8600 which provides homes in Fairfax County for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Brothers John White, Tom Zorn, Tim Lisko and Bob Balog, along with SJN parishioner Loren Biegler, participated in the project on Jan 21, 2017.
Fairfax County established a hypothermia prevention program 12 years ago to keep homeless people from freezing. Each week, a different faith community hosts homeless guests. This is the tenth year St. John Neumann has hosted the hypothermia prevention shelter and starting from January 15th for a week, guests from FACETS and Bailey's Crossroads Community Shelter are invited to have dinner, be entertained and sleep overnight with support from volunteers from several faith-based organizations that included Congregation Beth Emeth, St Mark, and St. Thomas a Becket.

This local organization is committed to transforming hearts through healthcare as an umbrella healthcare organization committed to promoting life-affirming medical practice.
