June 2019 Charity Breakfast

Next Sunday, June 2, is your last opportunity until Fall to join the Knights of Columbus for breakfast from 8:30-11:30am in the BrownMcCarthy Auditorium.

Our charity this month is Divine Mercy Care. The Family of Man Council, working with other Knights councils in our area, have raised enough to purchase an ultrasound machine. The goal of this charity breakfast is to support the other life-affirming services they provide.

Knights Host Veterans Visit to DC

On Wednesday, May 8th, several members of the Family of Man Council hosted 99 Veterans, including 13 from WWII, who came to Washington from the Chicago area. Three of our Brothers accompanied the Veterans throughout their visit: Joe Skowronski, Grant Buehrig and Bob Balog. Brother Mike Wells was also at Dulles Airport to welcome these gallant men and women and get them on the way to visit the National Memorials.
