Family of Man Council Young Man/Woman of the Year

The Family of Man Council of the Knights of Columbus has proudly nominated Kevin Morrow and Lorali O’Byrne as the council’s Young Man and Young Woman of the Year. This prestigious award, overseen by the Virginia State Council, celebrates the exceptional young individuals in our communities and acknowledges their significant contributions.

Kevin and Lorali were chosen for their outstanding academic achievements, active participation in civic and religious activities, and excellence in extracurricular pursuits. Both students maintain high GPAs and are members of the National Honor Society and several disciplinary honor societies.

Kevin is deeply involved in parish ministries, serving as an altar server, tutoring in the parish’s English as a Second Language program, and contributing his musical talents to weekly Mass. Lorali is a leader in the parish youth group, especially in Diocesan Work Camp activities. She is a dedicated member of her school’s Pro-Life club and has attended the National March for Life for the past five years.

On June 9 at the 5 PM Mass, Grand Knight David Bermingman presented Kevin and Lorali certificates from the State Council for their remarkable achievements. Congratulations to Kevin and Lorali!
