2025 Scholarship for Graduating High School Seniors
The Knights of Columbus, St. Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly #1781, has established a Scholarship Grant program to provide a one-time grant of financial assistance to a qualified, graduating high school senior from a parish served by our assembly who has demonstrated service to his/her community, academic achievement, and plans to pursue higher education.
The Scholarship Grant has been set at $1,000 and one award will be made for 2025.
Grant Eligibility
1. Parishioner at a church served by St. Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly #1781, including:
o Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, Sterling, VA
o Corpus Christi Catholic Church, South Riding, VA
o St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Great Falls, VA
o St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Reston, VA
o St. Joseph Catholic Church, Herndon, VA
o St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ashburn, VA
o St. Thomas à Becket Catholic Church, Reston, VA
2. Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 through 2nd Quarter Senior year.
3. Active participation with service activities in church, school, or community.
4. Graduating high school senior for the 2024-2025 school year.
5. Registered to attend college or other vocational training by the end of the current calendar year.
6. Submission of St. Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly Scholarship Grant Application and all required documentation to Assembly Scholarship Committee postmarked no later than Saturday, May 3, 2025. Please note that a complete application requires a short essay, letter of recommendation, and grade transcript.
A check for the scholarship grant will be sent to the student’s college or vocational school.
