The Family of Man Council of the Knights of Columbus will host our next Charity Breakfast on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Breakfast will be served in the Brown-McCarthy Auditorium at St John Neumann Parish from after the 7:30 AM Mass until the beginning of the 11:30 AM Mass. The designated charity of your free-will donations is the Nativity Preparatory School of Wilmington, DE, a tuition-free Catholic middle school for boys.
Guided by the example of Saint Francis de Sales, Nativity Prep strives to educate students, regardless of faith, to maximize their God-given potential. Nativity empowers them to earn acceptance and achieve success in a college preparatory school through a rigorous holistic education.
Every day, Nativity students are challenged by the teachings of St. Francis De Sale as he asks them to “be who you are and be that well.” Nativity students demonstrate their ability to be true to themselves while also being successful and valuable assets to their communities. After graduation, Nativity graduates take this motto and the values gained at Nativity with them, as they are productive, contended, and dynamic members of an ever-changing world. Today, Nativity has over 50 students enrolled at the school, along with 19 graduating classes consisting of over 160 alumni. You can find more information about Nativity Prep at https://nativitywilmington.org.
Please join your fellow parishioners for a delicious breakfast and assist this school in providing excellent educational opportunities for these students.
