FOM Knights Support Visit by WWII, Korean and Vietnam War Vets to Washington, DC.

Honor Flight Chicago brings every WWII Veteran they can find, along with Korean and Vietnam War Veterans, to see their memorials and experience their Day of Honor here in our Nation's Capital. On August 18, 2021, members of the Family of Man Council served as greeters, Flight Guardians, and volunteers to welcome the three WWII, 33 Korean War, and 76 Vietnam War veterans to Dulles International Airport and the DC area. PGK Chris Gallagher, DGK Joe Skowronski, PGK Mike Wells, and Grant Buehrig participated in the event.

Honor Flight Chicago recognizes the bravery, determination, and patriotism of our nation’s senior war veterans with a one-of-a-kind journey to Washington, D.C.
