The FoM Council has selected Grant Buehrig as our September 2021 Knight of the Month! The Council recognized Grant’s work to restart our altar server program after the COVID-19 stand down. He has been proactive in reaching out to our brother Knights to schedule transportation and attendance at SJN training and preparation sessions. In addition to the works of our Council, he is a regular supporter of the Honor Flight Chicago program, serving as a guardian for our veterans as they visit their memorials on the National Mall.
Grant and his wife Aquina have been members of SJN for more than 20 years. Grant serves as an usher and greeter at the 9:30 Mass. He also participated in last year’s Rooted faith formation. He and his wife have three wonderful granddaughters and live in Reston.
