On May 14 and 15, the Knights of Columbus Council # 7566 will conduct their Spring KOVAR Fund Drive. KOVAR is a charitable 501(c)(3) corporation established by the Virginia Knights of Columbus, dedicated to serving Virginians with intellectual disabilities, regardless of race, creed, color, or religious preference. Members of the Knights of Columbus, their wives, families, and friends will distribute free Welch’s Fruit Snacks packs and accept contributions after that weekend’s Masses.
For over fifty years, KOVAR has provided financial assistance through grants and home loans to tax-exempt organizations providing training and assistance to citizens with intellectual disabilities.
