The Knights of Columbus Family of Man Council held our monthly Charity Breakfast on Sunday, April 3, 2022. This designated charity for the breakfast was the Fellowship Square Foundation, Inc., based in Reston, VA.
Since 1960, Fellowship Square has provided quality housing for low-income seniors (aged 62 and older) who can live independently. With properties at Lake Anne and Hunter Woods in Reston and additional houses in Woodbridge and Upper Marlboro, Fellowship Square is proud to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of more than 800 residents. Fellowship Square envisions communities where all people have access to safe, quality living accommodations and services, regardless of their financial circumstances, so they can live with dignity and independence as long as they are able.
GK John Moran introduced Christy Zeitz, the CEO of Fellowship Square, who discussed the mission of the organization and expressed her appreciation of the support from the Knights and the community at large. Ms. Zeitz also had an information table set up in the Parish Hall.
